Fantastic Friday

Well even if the weather didn't really cooperate, we had so much fun with our bears on our picnic! Next week is Cc for colors so it will be a very bright week. I want to give you a heads up that I am planning a color explosion day on Thursday where I am going to let them throw color around, similar to what they use at a color run so please send them to school in old clothes that you don't mind them potentially ruining:) I have only ever had this stuff stain my white clothing. I have sunglasses here at school that I will have them wearing because even if we talk about not throwing it in eyes and such, I know sometimes it happens. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns:) I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing three day weekend and I will see you all on Tuesday!

Wonderfully Wacky Wednesday

I don't know how tired the rest of you are but after a morning of hunting down my lost bears and getting invited to a bear's picnic on Friday, we are pooped! But they had a ton of fun today and even found Letter B in places where there were not bears! Terrific Tuesday!

Bear week is now in full swing and let me tell you we are doing fantastic with helping find the letter Bb everywhere! It has been on a lot of shirts, a few of our snacks, all over our walls, and on a lot of our books! Some general housekeeping-if you have not filled out walking field trip form, media release, and technology release I will be sending those home tonight to be filled out and sent back to me by Friday. I tried to catch families at open house but I know if was kind of crazy that day and I think I missed four of you....
I also want to praise your kiddos for doing a good job of cleaning up their toys before going to play somewhere else. There are so many exciting toys in every classroom of our building and we have been working on it in each one of them so that any time we are in a different classroom, we can be consistent. They are doing wonderful with it, I am so proud of them!!! Have a wonderful day!

A case of the Mondays!

Welcome back everyone-from what I heard at carpet time, sounds like everyone had a fun weekend! We are starting our letter focus this week with letter Bb and they are already doing a fantastic job recognizing it on the cover of our books, around our classroom, in our snacks....They have even started to help me fill the letter bag! Next week, I will begin sending Letter Bag home with students, it will have a letter inside explaining how to do the activity with your child and when to send it back to school-if anything is unclear or you have questions-please don't hesitate to let me know:) I am also happy to report that no syrup got in our hair at lunch! They are so wiggly that this seems to happen at least once a year but so far so good! We did bring the baby wipes to lunch with us so even though they will definitely smell maple-y when you pick them up, hopefully we aren't too sticky:) Have a great day!

Finally Friday!

TGIF Families! Can you believe you have made it through a 5 day school week?! I don't think the kiddos can, there are some pretty sleepy faces around our classroom this morning:) I just wanted to thank everyone for helping me get this school year off to an amazing start-you have all been so supportive and kind! I cannot tell you how much that means to me, I truly appreciate it! Tonight I am sending home all the projects we did this week to make room for all of our Bear week activities next week! Feel free to put their projects in their folder to take home. Also, the office sent over some extra spirit wear from a couple years ago, so there will be a new T-shirt in your child's cubby as well. Have a wonderful weekend and I will see everyone on Monday!!

Let's do week 2!

Good Afternoon! We had an awesome time painting with water colors today, some of them just wanted to keep doing it. I am also convinced we had our best lunch day yet, I even got one kiddo to have a happy tray! Chicka Chicka Boom Boom week is going to be so fun, I can tell already! Have a great day!

Happy Friday Everyone! We made it through week one!! Next week we will begin our themed weeks by doing Chika Chika Boom Boom and doing an overview of the alphabet and in religion we will be talking about how God loves us and how we can love others. Day 2-Halfway Through

Hi, Families! We have had so much fun today, from meeting our new friends to playing in shaving cream!!! There are spirit wear T-shirts in some cubbies tonight if you didn't pick those up at open house. I hope everyone is feeling more in a routine now, I think the kiddos definitely are because drop offs went amazing this morning! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Yippee, it's Year Three!

Hello, Hello!! Welcome to my class, I am so excited to have you in it! I am Miss Brittney and this is my 3rd Year of teaching Preschool at St. Peter's! I cannot wait to begin helping your child learn and discover the joys of their school adventure! Everyday I will post to keep you up to date on your child's day, so you do not miss a thing.
