Family Fun Night coming up!

So apparently it is almost March with means there is a Family Fun Night in just two weeks on Friday, March 9th!!! It totally snuck up on me, so I am so sorry I have not gotten word out sooner. I do not know the official time, I believe they said 6:30 but I will definitely let you know by tomorrow. We will be doing a movie night in the gym so bring lawn chairs and blankets, we will be providing water, juice, and popcorn and maybe some other concessions! I hope to see y'all there:)
We are enjoying Dr. Suess week so far because we got to be in our socks all day!! The fun continues tomorrow with Red Fish, Blue Fish day so please have your child wear red or blue for the day.

Next week schedule

Here is the what to wear schedule for next week, there will also be a copy in your child's cubby ;)
Monday: Wear crazy/mismatched socks for Socks on Fox day.
Tuesday: Wear Red or Blue for One Fish, Two Fish Day
Wednesday: Wear Green for Green Eggs and Ham Day
Thursday: Wear PJs for Oh the places you will go! reading day.
Friday: Wear a hat for Cat in the Hat Day.

Next week is going to be on of those fun, crazy weeks and it will also get us into March!!!! I am so excited for spring to be getting so close. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you all on Monday!

The end is near...

The end of the rain, of indoor recess, of the week! It has been a full one. I think today was one of our best Zoo days yet because we got to pretend to be so many animals and we played in shaving cream. They have all gotten so great at writing that they were able to write letter Z in the shaving cream, their names, and some letters that we learned way back in September! Tomorrow we get to have our Zebra cake snake day!! Enjoy the rest of your day and we will see you after school.

Just around the corner

We are having fun with our Zoo week but next week we will be covering Dr. Suess so I just wanted to give you a heads up on that busy week. We will be doing a different Dr. Suess book every day and a couple of days will have very interactive themes. I will be sending a note home on Friday giving all of the dates and details.
In other news we have just about finished our first Mary's Meals art auction piece! I hope to be able to display it by tomorrow afternoon!!

Zig, Zag, and Surprise Visit

To continue the fun of letter Z, we zig-zagged our way to recess today...and then made a mad dash to the classroom when the wind and rain made our lovely outside day drop 20 degrees in 2 minutes (Gotta love Missouri Weather:)
Mr. Veit also stopped in to see us this morning and we even got him to do our good morning songs and dances with us, they loved it! We have spent the rest of our day having a zany day because we got to act like animals and work all day with our shoes off! More fun to come this afternoon. See you after school.

It is time for us to learn about letter Z. We will be having a zoo filled week with a lot of Zebra learning! Have a great, rainy day and we will see you after school (well and after our Zebra races we are having since the big kids get to have Mission Party;)

Welcome to another fun week at St. Peter's Preschool! We have started doing some Valentine's crafting so our classroom will look festive for Wednesday. Then we will do our exchange on Wednesday and then no school on Friday! Have a wonderful day, we will see you after school.

News about news

Hello everyone! There are quite a few upcoming events that I am sure you would love some information on. Today I am working on a letter containing information about Valentine's Day, Ash Wednesday, Lent, and our Preschool Service Project: Mary's Meals. I will have it all ready to go by this afternoon, so look for it in cubbies tonight. It has been another great dino-day here in Preschool. Now we have to teach our dinosaurs about brushing their teeth this afternoon. Have a great afternoon, we will see you after school.

Ham and bean day

AKA the school smells like sauerkraut to Miss Brittney day, AKA can't have recess in the gym day. But we are making the best of it by using Febreeze and having a recess in the classroom day. Dinosaur week is going great and we are getting into dental health this afternoon which will lead to us helping the dinosaurs keep their teeth clean tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a great week.
