Wishing you a Happy Easter!

Good Afternoon,
I hope everyone has a great Easter and a very happy break. I cannot believe that when we come back from break we will only have about 30 days of school left!! It seems like it has gone so fast. Some things that are still to come this year, a potential Yo-Yums field trip, Grandparents Day, Miss Brittney's Class Awards, and of course the art auction!
Here is a calendar of events for the end of the year:
Friday, April 6th: Mary's Meals Art Auction (formal invitation is in cubbies, feel free to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, who ever you would like:)
Friday, April 13th: Yo-Yums Field trip (still need to talk to principal and get approved).
Friday, May 5th: Grandparents Day in my class (formal invitation to follow)/
Friday, May 18th: Last day of school and awards ceremony in Miss Brittney's Class!

It should be a fun couple of months in our classroom:) Have a great afternoon and we will see you after school!

The Preschool Passover

Our Passover Feast of unlevened bread (Ritz crackers), Wine (Grape Juice), and cheese because there was totally cheese in Jesus' day right?!

Then I showed them how Jesus washed the Apostles'feet...Apparently water is super tickly

Family Fun Night was so great and we raised enough money to help feed 16 kids for a whole year!!!! I cannot wait to see how many we can help after the art auction. And remember, tickets for the basket drawing are still on sale! Our next family fun night is APRIL 6th!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend its going to be a fun week of kites and leprechauns in Preschool! Have a great afternoon and we will see you after school.

Just to let you know...

Spring Pics turned out great! And since we weren't all taking them, I took a silly spring picture of them with my phone. When I told the little sweethearts that I would be in meetings on Monday and miss seeing their smiling faces they told me that it was ok, I could look on my phone at their silly faces and not miss them:) So have a great weekend, hopefully I will see you at family fun night and if not, I will see you on Tuesday.

You're almost there!

Only one more working day left! We have made the most of our shortened week by knocking out assessments and doing some fun letter Ll work. Tomorrow we get to go on a lion hunt! We may even have some laughs and get some lollipops along the way;)
Just a reminder that Family Fun Night is tomorrow in the big school gym! We will be watching a movie so bring along chairs and blankets. We will have soda, juice, candy, and popcorn! I can't wait to see everyone together again. We will also have the Mary's Meals baskets on display so if you haven't gotten a close look at them, tomorrow will be your chance. Monday Announcemnets, oh wait its Tuesday

I hope everyone had a great snow day, it looks like we have another one coming up on Wednesday, March 28th. We are going to be doing letter L this week and working on assessments. Assessments will go home Friday, March 16th. Have a great week. See you after school.

Snow day on Monday

Yep you read that right! We will be having our first snow day on Monday, so no school. We had a busy Dr. Suess week so time to rest up and get ready for letter L next week. Third quarter ends this Friday (the same night as family fun night) so I will be doing assessments all this week and you will receive them the following Friday, March 16th.
