We wrapped Jesus (a marshmallow) in His burial cloth (a crescent roll) and applied perfumes and spices (butter and cinnamon sugar) just like they did to Jesus in the Bible. Then we put Jesus in the tomb( the oven set at 350) for 3 days (10 minutes) when we checked the tomb (but into it), Jesus had risen!!! This is my favorite way to teach about the resurrection, it is so visual and delicious!!!! Feel free to use this recipe for your Easter traditions:) You won't be disappointed! Pro tip: be sure to put on parchment paper because sometimes marshmallow Jesus runs out a little more than rising😉
