Sorry for so few pictures, I am suffering from a migraine today and will be leaving early. Kenadi Trachsel will be my substitute. The kiddos have been so kind to me-I explained to them that I was having a really bad headache that would make it hard for me to look at lights or hear loud noises or even to bend over to pick stuff up so if they could help me today by letting us leave one set of lights off and trying to play as quietly as we could because sometimes these headaches make Ms. Brittney get sick to her stomach...and they have been very kind and quiet and continue to tell me they hope I feel better and that they hope I don't throw up...their concern is very touching:)
We did some hand/arm painting to make a tree today and then used our fingers to make fall leaves. Not pictured, we also used white crayons to make the veins on some leaves and then they showed up when we painted the leaves with water colors! We talked about why leaves change colors in the fall, because the cool weather signals the green food (chlorophyll) to stop traveling to the leaves veins and when the green food stops coming through, then you can see the other colors that are the part of the leaves...
