So many special things today! We got new-Preschool height friendly-hooks so the kiddos got to work on their independence and hang up their own backpacks today, then we walked in to find our classroom decked out in colorful streamers, we got to celebrate Lydia's 5th Birthday, we already came up with 35+ words for letter C, we learned a very catchy song about God's Creation (we are even making up a dance to it:)and we got to mix up paint with our hands!!! Here are a ton of pictures so you can join in on our fun day too!
Happy Birthday, Lydia! And thanks for the cookies!
I spy letter C!
Some friends started on our week long Creation Coloring Book!
Color Bean Bag activity...
For the first time ever, every single person actually liked squishing the paint....
We read a book called "Mouse Paint" and it was about these mice who fall into red, yellow, and blue jars of paint. Then when they play in the paint puddles, they realize that they are making different colors...Even after reading the book and knowing what happens when colors mix, these little mice were still amazed when they were able to make new colors by mixing the paint on their hands! It was so funny to watch their reactions...and even more funny to watch them do our "wet paint walk" to the bathroom...Hands up high above your head all the way down the hallway:)
Makes decorating the classroom so worth it:)
