Safety First and Secret Surprises!

Good Afternoon! Today is the beginning of fire safety week in our class and we started it off by going over what is safety and how do be safe. We even read a story about baby Mickey being safe. We did a worksheet where we had to follow directions and circle things that are safe to touch. I had a proud teacher moment at snack today. They had Graham crackers, when they broke them they were all like "look! Now we have halves." Then someone broke them in half again and was like "yeah and now I have fourths" Yay for remembering what we learned last week!!!!
In holiday news-we got Boo-ed today! Someone gave us a bowl of Halloween treats with a note asking us to secretly boo another class, so they helped me put together a boo basket and we are going to sneak deliver it to Mrs. Ratcliff and Miss Judy's class this afternoon. I have been told the big school is also getting Boo-ed so if you have bigger kids, help the little ones keep the secret;)
Thanks for turning in those permission forms so quickly. If you didn't turn yours in, no worries we just need them by Friday. Thanks! See you after school.
Miss Brittney
P.S. If you want to Boo, your family members or your neighbors I will gladly make a copy of the letter we received! I love this! It's a great way to spread holiday spirit and teach the kiddos how much fun it can be to give to others:)
