Good Afternoon Families! Today we decorated our Christmas tree! They had so much fun and are excited for our letter Rr Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Week!!! We talked about Advent today and looked at our advent wreath. There are only like 14ish school days until Christmas and they will be pretty busy days so over the weekend I am going to look through the while month of December and I will email a layout of activities, parties, times, help that is needed, etc. so hopefully your busy December can run smoothly on the school end of things:) Have a wonderful, cheery weekend!

Back together again!
Welcome back everyone! It is so wonderful to see everyone back at school, I missed my silly little kiddos! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are doing Ww this week in class, we will be talking about Winter animals/hibernation and we will be Waiting for Christmas by talking about Advent and getting our classroom ready, they already helped me make wreathes and helped me put up some pictures. This is such a fun time in our classroom because we focus on Baby Jesus and they love it! They get excited to realize Jesus was a baby just like them. I told them today that Christmas is Jesus's birthday so we get presents on his birthday since there is a little bit of Jesus inside of all of us:)

Back on line
Hello, hello! Since the sun was out today, we took a little walk to our playground to see if the snow melted any and we saw that our teeny, tiny snowman was still there from Monday! Too fun! Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving Lunch at school so we will be making a sticker scene of the first Thanksgiving-can't wait to put all of those fine motor skills to the test! Have a great day!

Dead Batteries...
Sorry no pictures today due to a dead phone battery. But see if your child remembers anything about the Mayflower tonight...If they say it is when their birthday is, they might be a little right LOL I told them it was May like the month, like when some of them have birthdays and that may be all that sunk in:)

A little homework
Hi Families! Today we read about a Turkey who dresses up in all kinds of costumes. Tonight I am sending home a turkey for your child to disguise with you! There were already some good ideas today someone wanting a superhero turkey, a princess turkey, and a skeleton turkey. In the past I have had bowl of cereal turkey, bag of popcorn turkey, and camouflage turkey. This is not a required activity by any means (this is Preschool and I very much believe in family time over homework at all age levels:) but I thought it might be a fun way to spend some time with your child in connection to what they are learning at school. When the turkey is finished please send it back to school (anytime before Thanksgiving) and we will display them for everyone to see. Go as simple or as in depth as you want, just have some fun together:)
