Things going home...

Good Afternoon! Just wanted to give you a heads up that there will be a fundraiser in cubbies tonight and one or two fall projects but I am going to keep the rest up around our classroom another week or so for decoration:) And then Monday, field trip forms go home! There will be a cover letter explaining times and activities. Please fill out the forms and send in with $6 by October 7th!!! Parents or grandparents are welcome to come, it will be $3 for adults and you can send in that payment when you send in your child's. It is such a fun day, I can't believe it is so close already!!!!! Just some things...

Hi, everyone! Just a reminder that tomorrow is picture day!! We will go right away in the morning so we have very little time to mess up our outfits:) Part timers, even if you are not ordering pictures, if you have the chance to bring your kiddo in for a picture tomorrow, please do so they will be in the class composite photo-thank you! Also, a reminder that family fun night is this Friday!!! We will be having snacks and drinks out on the playground at 6:30. It will be so fun to see everyone together!!! If you have any questions, please let me know! I know a lot of people have signed up to bring stuff for that night, thank you so much for that! Have a fabulous afternoon!

Another one for the books....

I know I say best day ever a lot but I have to say that each year, this is one of my favorite weeks!! We eat yummy food, we start thinking about fall, the weather SLLLLOOOOWWWWWLLLLYYY starts to cool down, and we just have so much fun!!!! Today we got to eat all of the best foods;caramel apples, apple cider, and apple pie!!!! It's been good but I am also so ready for our fall week next week so the kiddos can help me start decorating our room, we can make cute fall crafts, and just so we can have some fun together again! Thank you so much for another awesome week, I know a lot of kiddos are going to the Helias Homecoming Parade so I hope to see you there! It's the end for Nn

But that just means we get to move on to letter Aa next week and do our Apple week!!!!! The weather is not quite cooperating but I cannot possibly wait any longer to start our fall themes-I am just too eager!!!!!! So harvest weather excluded, we will start a fun filled, harvest themed week of all things apples! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and I will see everyone on Tuesday! Date Change

Hello all, I am so sorry but I told you the wrong date for the pumpkin patch. It is actually Thursday, October 10th! So sorry we had been debating between the two dates and I must have got confused on which one we officially picked! Again, so sorry for any inconvenience! Speaking of inconvenience, just a reminder that there is no school Monday, Sept. 16th and there is no after school care on Monday, Sept. 30th. Thanks for all your understanding!

Happy Tuesday Everyone! The kiddos had such a wonderful day today! They got to meet cowboys, rope some hay bales, and pet horses! Needless to say, they are all so worn out that they are sleeping soundly now LOL Mrs. Ratcliff had a better angle than me so I will upload some more pictures as soon as she sends them to me. Also wanted to let you all know that I have meetings this afternoon so there will be a sub here when you pick up today. Have a wonderful afternoon and enjoy hearing all of the fantastic stories from today's adventure!!!

Some dates for your calendar...

TGIF Everyone! I know some of these are a bit early but I wanted to go ahead and give you the info for your calendars now, and I will provide you with details closer to the actual date:)

September 24th: Picture Day! (It has been moved from its original date of the 12th)

September 27th: Family Fun Night! 

           -First one of the year.

           -Probably starting around 6 or 6:30

           -Fun night out on the playground, getting to meet all of the kiddos new friends and parents:)

October 11th: Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

           -I know a lot of parents always like to attend this one so wanted to give you time to take off if you would like to. 

           - I don't know the official time frame yet but we usually get to the patch by 9 or 9:30 and then wrap up around 11....

I think that is all I have for now, I will let you know if anything else comes up. Have a fantastic weekend, hopefully we can all start getting over our allergies soon:)
