Cloud Watching

I love being able to have my mom sub because I can count on her years of experience to know exactly how to run my classroom even better than me but also because she knows how much I miss being there and how much I love doing my blog so she took some pictures for me:) It is unfortunate that there were absolutely no clouds apparently but it sounds like the cloud watching party was pretty successful and the kids looked pretty adorable! Sorry I had to miss it but I am finally over the stomach flu so I will see you all on Monday!!

Weekend Planner

Good Afternoon, just a reminder that Monday is a "snow day" so no school that day. Also Big Bucks is this weekend and if you are interested in the art auction items, Preschool did a fantastic collage American Flag that is made out of Popsicle sticks that the kiddos designed. I will try to post a picture of it tomorrow. Have a great afternoon and we will see you after school.

Egg-citing news

We got to see a chick hatch! And then two more hatched today! We had a lot of fun watching the chicks move around in their incubator. Thanks go out to Mrs. Ratcliff for letting us share the excitement! We worked on matching animal mommies to their animal babies and tomorrow we will get to make some chicks. Its going to be a fun week!! See you after school.

Another Monday Down

And then we will be off next Monday, unless there is a snow day between now and then, which is kind of a real possibility at this point...Mrs. Ratcliff's eggs are here so hopefully we will have some exciting chick news over the next couple of days. Ahoy Maties!

Tomorrow we embark on our pirate voyage to the land of frozen yogurt to the village of Yo-Yums! We will be walking since it is so near by and the weather (should be) beautiful. I know a lot of parents work near by so if you would like to join us, please feel free to walk with us or meet us at Yo-yums, I will send out an email with all of the information. My mom is coming to help me walk them so they will get two days of Miss Marie, which they have sounded very excited about. Have a wonderful afternoon, we will see you after school.
