So for academics today...we learned what happens to a slide if you make it wet:)

A little news...

 Whew! We made it through week 1!!!!!! I don't know if you all are as exhausted as me but I am definitely looking forward to tomorrow's stay home/sleep in day! The kiddos are getting a long so well and doing an amazing job, I'll miss them over the weekend but it'll be great to see them on Monday for our Chica Chica Boom Boom week!!!! We will really start on the regular morning routine now that we know what to expect in the mornings so they will be getting their jobs on Monday morning:) There is a bit of scheduling news that I have just become aware of that I need to share...due to the lack of available workers for supervision, there will be NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month 1:30 Dismissal Days! I am so sorry for any inconvience this is going to cause because I know it will and I know it is a big annoyance but we just have no one to watch the kids, and it is state law that we have to have these meetings (otherwise I can't stay certified and you all will have to have a new teacher...). I am really sorry about this but it is just one day a month so it really only happens 9 times...I hope it is not too much of a bother. 

I hope you have enjoyed this week as much as me and the kiddos have! Enjoy the weekend and I will see you all bright and early on Monday!

Miss Brittney's 2nd Day of school Prayer

 Dear God, Please let drop off continue to go as smoothly as it has the last 2 days. Amen.

Oh and please let them continue to be as amazing at cleaning up, helping, and being kind as they have been. Amen.

Oh and also, thank you for these amazingly supportive, kind, loving families you have blessed me with in my class this year. Amen!

Welcome #4!

 Welcome Families!! I am so excited to have you along for this wild and crazy ride:) Well we made it through the 1st Morning and I have to say that was the least amount of tears I have ever had! :) I know it might have seemed rough but honestly, they were all smiles within just a couple of minutes! Please check out the pictures of our day under "Preschool Happenings" and then click on today's date, that is where I will always upload the pictures of our day. We've had a lot of fun playing with the toys, having our hands painted, playing on the playground, eating pizza, and they have been doing a great job of listening and following directions!!! All this week we'll be working on the school procedural stuff, lining up, sitting on the carpet without kicking people in the face, walking without stepping on each others shoes or running past each other, all that fun stuff:) I hope you here a lot of tales of their awesome 1st Day and I can't wait for all the fun days that are coming in our future...Now on to Pudding Painting tomorrow!!!!

1)Sweet Summertime Serving Tray: Fingerprint ants and watermelon seeds.

2) To plant a garden flower pot: complete with finger stems and fingerprint flowers

3)Love You to the moon and back button art-completed by my button placing and picking assistants:)

4) You are my sunshine: Water color sunshine completed by students water painting over their names (hard to see names but they are on there:)

5)The Very Hungry Caterpillar-footprints of students make up the caterpillar

6) A preschool prayer: Fingerprint filled cross outlined in our daily prayer and the students names

7) Shades of love: ombre hearts printed by the kiddos

8) We are the Champions: KC Chiefs logo outlined with the kiddos names and painted by their fingerprints AND signed by Governor Parson during his visit to our classroom!
