Goodness gravy!

Learning about letter Gg is so fun! We came up with silly G words this morning like gobbly gloop, and goodness gravy, and great goats. Then  we got a little crazy with the g words in our craft this morning and made Gold and Green Glitter Glue letter Ggs! In religion we read about Noah and the Ark today and talked about how rainbows are a sign that God will always keep us safe:) Can't wait for the rest of the fun this week will bring! We talked about how in the fall time people get sick so we are going to be washing our hands, covering our coughs and sneezes, and getting kleenexes for our boogers instead of picking them with our fingers...All of this led to a discussion about eating healthy foods and drinking lots of water and juice and it was mentioned that it's ok to eat just one or two pieces of candy but not a whole whole lot LOL I love their smart little minds they provide the best conversations sometimes:)

I don't know if you all have enjoyed this lovely weather as much as we have in Preschool this week, but hasn't it been fabulous?! We have tried to work in a little extra recess among all our fun fall activities because only the Good Lord knows how long it'll last. I have so enjoyed our fall week, I am a little sad it is getting cut short with our Friday off but I am going to try to work some more fall stuff in during Fire Safety Week;) Next week we are going to cover something I think they are very excited for Gg for....GHOST! It should be fun and we will begin decorating our classroom for Halloween. Heads up that Pumpkin Patch Fieldtrip forms will go home next Monday so be on the look-out:) Have such a wonderful weekend with your kiddo, can't wait to see everyone on Monday!

My little bakers

In honor of letter Aa we baked some Apple Pies today, they were such wonderful helpers! Our pies are baking right now, I will try to post some pics this afternoon when they are done:) Have a wonderful weekend, see you for our Finally Fall letter Ff week next week!

They had so much fun meeting their big buddies!! Such a great group of kids-they were so attentive and helpful to my kiddos, I so appreciate it! Can't wait for all the fun activities to come (especially at Halloween:)

Talking Religion

Today we read about Adam and Eve in our Bible. We talked about how they made a bad choice in not listening and that that made God very sad:( But God forgave them when they made a bad choice, just like it makes mommies, daddies, and Miss Brittney sad when we make bad choices but we still love them and forgive them. I love getting to talk to them about religion, it helps me look at it in such a simple way that totally makes sense. Here is to more fabulous discussions! Have a great afternoon.

Friday Time

Good Afternoon! We've had a pretty fun week in Preschool learning all about letter Nn. We worked on our names a lot this week and it is so fun watching them find their name tags and being able to pick out their work-I love seeing how excited they get about being able to read:) Next week we were going to do Ff for fall but it is going to be so warm and not at all fall like so we are going to do Aa for apples! Which is one of my favorite weeks because we do an apple tasting experiment, have my all time favorite snack, caramel apples, and I have them try the best drink ever-Apple Cider!! Hopefully all of this fall spirit will make the weather cooperate so we can do fall next week!! Have a great weekend, enjoy your little ones smiles and I will see you on Monday!
